On April 7, 2025, the Guanye 8-X-1H well, the first well drilled at the Guanye 8-X platform under the integrated drilling and fracture project contracted by SETC, successfully reached a total depth of 7,345 meters, with a horizontal section of 3,038 meters and a displacement of 4,053 meters. This achievement set new records for the CNPC Dagang Oilfield, including the deepest well, the longest horizontal section, and the shortest drilling cycle for a 7,000-meter well.
